Gathering.

I have this little dream of mine. It’s a mish mash of things I love. Not sure there’s anything precisely like it. But it infuses photography + events + thrifting + gatherings + maybe a few other things

These #luxurypicnics are popping up everywhere and I LOVE them. For me, personally, I couldn’t do it and give so much of my weekends with my babies away. But like, I would totally host me some picnics right on my land any day!

My dream is to start a business where I can host events, rent out my designed space + land for photographers for shoots + also to anyone for a small event space. But I also have everything on hand for them to design their own setup. It would also be a section that is a thrift store and also an area where local small business owners could sell their creations.

A few months ago, @nathanielyancy and I met with a guy about renting out one of his retail spaces and I tried explaining my vision to him and he just didn’t understand. It’s a super multi-purpose space full of life + love. And I even imagine it having certain times that are open for local bakeries to come and sell items and even co-working space abilities. I keep envisioning more additions to maximize the space and maybe that’s my 7 enneagram just wanting to do it all.

Maybe I just start with some small picnics and see where it goes from from there but I’ll hold this dream of mine in my pocket until it is ready to come alive.

For now, you’ll catch me gathering with friends, hoping their experience is a blessing and our time together is cherished. Sitting on the ground around a table, eating snacks and chatting life. 😊

This particular set-up was so fun to set-up for some very special women in my life. All the pieces are part of my little vintage glassware collection. I love putting all the pieces together to make for memorable experiences.
